Creditors & Debtors Clerk

The Role
The Debtors and Creditors Clerk is responsible for the accurate and efficient management of both accounts receivable (debtors) and accounts payable (creditors) functions. This role ensures timely invoicing and collection of payments from customers, as well as accurate processing and payment of invoices from suppliers, thereby contributing to healthy cash flow and strong financial records for the organisation.

Requirements
Minimum national senior grade 12 matric certificate, or equivalent NQF qualification
Tertiary qualification, a relevant certificate, diploma or degree in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
Minimum of 4-5 years' proven experience in a similar Debtors and Creditors role.
Experience in the FMCG industry would be advantageous.
Demonstrate a successful record of accomplishment in previous roles.
Experience with a recognised accounting software package such as Xero, Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks is essential
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
